Life, Love, & Death
In my heart It is all connected. Love is what gives us meaning to our existence and Death is simply a continuation of Life. Life and Death are a divine duality just as Light and darkness are. Life and Death are aspects of a single existence just like the spirit, soul and the physical body are a single existence.

Although the body dies, the spirit and soul transform—they become Light.
“The soul and the spirit are connected, but are separable. The soul is the essence of humanity’s being; it is who we are. The spirit is the aspect of humanity that connects with God.”
(Hebrews 4:12).

I still have a relationship with my passed away loved ones, in particular with my husband. It's not same kind of relationship as when he was alive, it's just a different kind of relationship. Death is simply another part of Life... To be afraid of Death is to have fear of Life. I believe I will be with all the people I Loved in my Life in another dimension and I will know who they are, because Love is what connects us.

Different civilizations such as the Aztecs and the Mayans believed that Death was simply a continuation of Life.

Growing up in a small community in Mexico, I recall going  to the cemetery. I remember the Virgin of Guadalupe, the rosary, music, candles, flowers and food. These were all symbols of connection to our loved ones who had passed. We talked to our loved ones who continued on their way to the other life that is not in our physical world. I grew up believing that there is a perfect day to be born, and a perfect day to die. Death does not mean to stop living, it is simply a means of transformation.

Although it has been difficult and painful for me to accept the death of loved ones, over time I have learned that they are still with me. I feel the presence of the Light of  the lives of my ancestors, family, friends all within me.
